This dried fruit was interesting to draw with the folds and tapering of its shape. The dusky rose colour also attracted me. 

Some flowers i found, drawn from the shadows across the page.

I played with the shadows and ink drawings to create a collage of real and observed.

I brought the colours of the pear forward to create a blushing baby, rounded like the form of the fruit.

Here I chose the shapes within the church alter carvings and created a figure from them. The sharp angles and curves also reminded me of a bats face.

 We set out to draw 'small objects', and create surreal, abstract and simplistic drawings from out studies.
